Located 26 miles west of Philadelphia, Paoli Pennsylvania offers the best of small town living with all of the sophistication of the Main Line. The township has a high rate of literacy, and there are numerous professional and technical firms with headquarters in the community. The local business climate is very healthy, and the township's zoning laws have been carefully designed to encourage new growth and to protect the integrity of the residential neighborhoods.

The community is served by a local bus system and regional rail services. The Main Line of the Philadelphia railroad runs through Paoli, and the station is served by Amtrak's Keystone Service and Pennsylvanian trains. The public schools are operated by the Tredyffrin School District. The main library is within the community and is operated by the Tredyffrin Library System.
